Fundraising

2018 Fundraising

We had a Car Wash to help raise funds on September 8th, 2018.

2017 Fundraising

We sold Hex bug aquabots at our annual Fall Festival
in October to help support our 2017 trobotics team.

2015 Fundraising

We visited local businesses and asked for sponsorship. In exchange for their donations, we will display their logo on the back of our Game Day T-shirt, in our Marketing booth, and on our Team Banner that is used at Game Day in the stands and at Outreach Events.

Without the help of our generous Sponsors we would not be able to prepare for competition and outreach events. We would like to thank them for their support.
2014 Fundraising

We want to thank AUVSI for their donation of $350 and we also want to thank McClary Tire for their donation of $250.

We were able to buy new VEX kit and a Surface Tablet this year.
2013 Fundraising

We went to McClary tire and asked for sponsorship from them and received $500 due to their generosity.

Visited Northrop Grumman and received a robotic tour, a chance to work on our presentation skills, and will possibly receive sponsorship from them.
We also presented a request to AUVSI and received $650 for a metal lathe.
2012 Fundraising
Trobotic, Inc. chose to sell Hexbugs in order to raise money to help prepare for Game Day on October 27th at Calhoun Community College. We were able to set up a display in the school lunchroom and demonstrate how each Hexbug worked. Students took order forms home and we sold many through the school.  We also set up a table outside of Walmart to sell our Hexbugs.  Another fundraising event took place at the ABS annual Fall Festival. We did not have many of those little robotic critters left after that event. The rest were sold by students taking them home and asking their parents to take them to work.

Trobotics, Inc. members, Austin Britnell, Andrew Stewart, and Zane Sparks, made a presentation to the Educational Committee of the Pathfinder Chapter of AUVSI in Huntsville, AL. They requested $2,000 during their presentation and explained how our team would use those funds to help get needed tools and equipment for our new facility, update our laptops, and other items needed to help us prepare for the 2012 Warp XX TVBEST competition.
A week later, our whole team went back to Huntsville to meet with AUVSI to find out if they granted our request. Trobotics, Inc was very happy to find out they approved our request and they granted us with $2,000. Many thanks goes out to the Pathfinder Chapter of AUVSI for their continued support for schools in the community.

Our marketing assistant, Ashley Rumph, visited Mr. Kasey Harbin at McClary Tire Company in Athens, AL to thank him for his past support of our team. She also asked him if he would be able to Sponsor us again this year. They agreed to Sponsor us again this year and we are so thankful for their generosity.
2011 Fundraising
BEST Robotics Inc. allowed our team to participate in a Hexbug fundraiser this year. Trenton B, our CEO/President of Trobotics Inc. visited the classrooms of our school, to demonstrate how much fun owning Hexbugs can be. He must have done a great job because we had a fantastic response, and sold a lot of those cute critters.
We also held a fundraising event at our local Walmart supercenter, on September 11, 2011. From 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. that day people were enticed by the sight of Hexbugs scurrying around on our display table, and couldn’t wait to buy one for themselves! We sold every Hexbug, except for seven. Fortunately, we sold those last seven at our next Trobotics meeting.
